Mark Baer Crowned Most Compassionate Family Mediator by Corporate America

Mark Baer has recently been recognized by The Corporate America Legal Elite of 2015 as "Most Compassionate Family Mediator—California."

The Legal Elite award is designed to "shine a spotlight on the most well respected lawyers, barristers, attorneys and firms in the business, highlighting the game changing work, stellar customer service and amazing results that have made them the envy of their competitors and colleagues the world over."

In January 2015, voting took place on www.corporateamerica-news.com where corporate subscribers and national legal practitioners were invited to take part and vote. The last few months saw Corporate America researchers analyzing the ballots and the total list of honorees will be announced in July.

Inductees are included in multiple platforms on Corporate America to promote their firm and corporate subscribers as well as national legal professionals will receive the winner's programs, reaching hundreds of thousands of legal peers.

This recognition is only the most recent for Mark Baer—he has been recognized as Southern California Super Lawyer in the family law category since 2012, included among The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers in 2014, named a member of the Nation’s Top One Percent list for 2015 by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, selected for The Best of Los Angeles Award 2014 in the category of Mediation, The Best of Los Angeles Award 2015 in the category of Family Law Attorney, Global Awards 2015 Corporate LiveWire Winner for Family Law - Pasadena, California, rated "Top Attorney" by Pasadena Magazine from 2010 to 2014, and included to the list of esteemed contributors to the “Family Law Techniques and Trial Tips” chapter of the 2015 Los Angeles County Bar Family Law Reference Book. His article, ‘The Perfect Storm: Lawyer Limitation and the Adversarial Model in Family Law,’ published in the American Journal of Family Law, Winter 2014 is utilized at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law, which has been ranked number one in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for 11 consecutive years.

Mark Baer was recently added to the Executive Committee of The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers, along with Gloria Allred, Mark Geragos, and others. The letter inviting Mark to join the Executive Committee stated in pertinent part as follows: "Based upon your exceptional resume as a leader in your field, we feel that your insights are a valuable resource to our members. The National Advocates would be honored to feature any articles, papers or notable achievements from you on our website, social media pages and newsletter, Advocacy for All." The letter is signed by the current President of the organization, Mark O'Mara.

Mark has a regular column in both the Huffington Post and the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association's newsletter. His articles have also appeared in the American Journal of Family Law, Los Angeles Daily Journal, MariaShriver.com, and many other respected publications. Mark was also selected to author a chapter for the "Inside the Minds: Strategies for Family Law in California, 2013 ed." book, published by Thomson Reuters. The book was published on July 1, 2013.

Mr. Baer has presented at many conferences, including the American Bar Association's Section of Family Law Conference and the California Psychological Association (CPA) Convention.
